Israeli Democracy saw its darkest day nearly 25 years ago, with the assassination of PM Yizhak Rabin. Our Kibbutz is part of a coalition of organizations stressing the perils our democracy faces while strengthening the ability to solve inner conflicts via Dialogue, rather than violence. The focal point of this effort is Rabin's Yahrzeit when the coalition summons an "Israeli General Assembly". Consisted of dozens of assemblies all over Israel, discussing issues in public dispute, the "Israeli GA" confronts the dangerous polarization in Israeli society.
